About Me

I was born and raised on a wheat farm and cattle ranch in Colorado. After graduating from college where I studied agricultural business, I landed a great job in Texas that I planned to stay in for a long time. However, a decision by that company in 2009 changed the path of my life forever. I was laid off, sending me into a time of feeling like I was lost in the wilderness. Since losing my job, life has taken many twists and turns, including pursing my dream of becoming a teacher. My wilderness time taught me many valuable lessons about trusting God no matter what my external circumstances may be.
Finding God in the Wilderness, my very first book, was born out of the many lessons I learned, and continues to learn, while walking through the wildernesses of my own life. My desire is for everyone to seek out the fingerprints of God, regardless of what their outward circumstances may be. We should all desire to live our lives like King David and Joseph, who even in their darkest times, still ran toward God.
